Established in 2012, South Coast Locksmiths began with a simple goal—to keep our community safe with expert, reliable locksmith services. Based in Fairy Meadow, we proudly service Wollongong and surrounding areas, offering everything from residential and automotive support to emergency callouts, key replacements and advanced security systems.


The Owner operator, Kevin Morrissey has worked for three major Sydney Locksmithing companies and has been a locksmithing teacher for 10 years at a Sydney college. He has over 30 years of industry experience, and our licensed team is backed by Master Locksmith accreditation and a strong commitment to quality, integrity and customer care. Master Locksmith Association

The Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia (MLAA) is an independent professional body which is recognised and respected as the peak organisation for locksmithing professionals in the Pacific region. The MLAA has approximately 1,000 members providing a wide range of locksmithing and security services throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific region and South East Asia.


In addition to business and individuals engaged in locksmithing activities, our membership also includes manufacturers and distributors of security products, students and others engaged in relevant areas of the security industry.


Engaging the services of an MLAA member for your locksmithing or security needs ensures you're dealing with a trusted, professional provider who:


  • Is a fully qualified and experienced professional within the security industry.
  • Holds the appropriate licence to operate as a locksmith under State and Territory security legislation.
  • Adheres to a strict code of ethics and conduct set by the Master Locksmiths Association.


Members MLAA members hold recognised trade qualifications and/or have passed our stringent and independently conducted trade competency tests.


Master Locksmiths have the skills and experience to recommend effective security solutions to meet your specific needs. They can also supply you with an exclusive range of MLAA patented high security locking systems which are designed and manufactured in Australia to meet Australian Standards and market conditions.

These systems provide you with an extra level of protection for what’s important to you.

Regular Hours Service (Mon-Fri 9-5pm)


  • Service call and labour from $100-$140 depending on location. Including Lock-outs of residential/Commercial premises.
  • Opening vehicles non European from $100-$140 depending on location. European $200-$250.
  • Transponder keys supplied, cut and programmed from $140
  • Automotive remotes supplied & programmed from $120. Diagnostically $140.
  • Make keys to cars Non-Transponder from $275. With Transponder non-European from $450.00. European from $800.
  • Eeprom reads/reset ECU’s for Toyota when required from $700.
  • Deadbolts supplied & installed from $170.
  • Deadlatches supplied & installed from $300.
  • Window locks supplied & installed from $60 each.
  • Patio bolts supplied & installed from $80 each.


After Hours Service

After hours service call from $180-$220 depending on location.
After midnight call out-8.30am $300.


Change combination on the 1st lock from $100-$140 depending on location and $40 each lock after.
